The majestic hall, known as “Ninfeo dei Miti”, perfectly combines the elegance of the neoclassical style with the rigour and simplicity of 18th century settings. The warmth of the wood and the colour of the stone, the frescoes inspired by classical mythology and by Mediterranean traditions, furnishings of the highest quality welcome over 450 guests, offering plenty of space and all the amenities necessary for a prestigious ceremony. The light and state of the art sound systems make of each event a unique experience.
The Armoury is a great stone room in the ancient olive oil mill, fully restored and enriched with exclusive furnishings, collection pieces and strict period reproductions. Ideal for important receptions, but also for more intimate banquets, such as communions, baptisms, birthday parties, family occasions, the salon is irradiated and enhanced by breathtaking views of the Li Surìi grounds, the palm groves, the pool area and the blue sea nearby. An elegant and majestic setting perfectly accompanied by typical Salento dishes, masterfully prepared by our chefs, who have a keen eye for innovations in Mediterranean cuisine.
The underground oil mill “Trapeto’’ used to be the heart of Li Surìi: in the 19th century, the estate produced lamp oil that was sold for public lighting in Paris. The restoration has maintained the charming architectural elements of this great room (it almost looks like an underground basilica with a nave). In this area, excavated from the rock, the olives were gathered and transformed into highly valued oil, which was then collected in the wells still visible today. This space is well suited for social events of all kinds (such as for cutting the cake, youth festivals, as well as book presentations, exhibitions, conferences).
The Imperial Hall is the perfect space for a private event. Whether it be an evening for a few close friends or a festive family dinner or a special occasion to remember, framed in elegance and exclusivity: in any case, the staff of Li Surìi reserve the same care devoted to major events, with custom menus to meet specific needs dictated by the occasion.
A cozy room, dedicated to the famous pope from the 1800’s, of whom a striking portrait hangs on the wall, is the ideal place for those who seek intimacy and hospitality at the same time. You can spend a unique evening tasting Primitivo produced in our estates, from a vine native from Manduria, or choosing from carefully selected bottles of wine by Masseria Li Surìi. The Wine Lounge is the perfect location: on request we provide specialized sommeliers and all the necessary equipment for wine tastings and food presentations.
Located in the entrance to the old mill, it has a glass roof, finely crafted in the shape of a pyramid. As it can be opened from a distance, it cools down the hall during hot summer evenings, recreating the same atmosphere as that from many years ago. It's just a small detail that shows the versatility of Li Suriì, a complex set within the unspoilt beauty of the original structure and the 18th century technological and functional innovations of the present. Through the pyramid patio, guests are greeted by our staff and accompanied in the rooms of their choice.
